With over 20 years of healthcare-specific experience, James brings commitment to creativity, continued learning, and client satisfaction.  A graduate of Oklahoma State University, he joined the team in 1997 and as Chief Operating Officer, continues to help the firm bring innovative solutions and outstanding service and value to clients.
 
As a working principal, James is integral to the leadership of the firm, as well as successful project delivery.  His devotion to each client begins in the conceptual stages and carries through to successful project completion.  His personal service helps provide the high quality and cost-effective solutions that clients have come to expect from Curtis Group Architects.
 
James' continual commitment to growth is evidenced in his memberships in industry organizations, including the AIA, Texas Society of Architects, and American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), as well as his certification by the Center for Health Design as an Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC) professional.
