Legacy Heart Center was completed in June 2005 as part of the planned expansion of the former Texas Regional Heart Center practice. The 45,000 square foot medical office and laboratory complex is located in Plano’s Legacy Park development. The facility houses the area’s most extensive array of state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment options, including the GE LightSpeed Scanner, which can capture exceptionally high resolution images of the heart and the coronaries in a few heartbeats. The design of the facility gave special consideration and attention to the daylighting of interior spaces and circulation flow of patients.
