The Hospice House is a 16,000 square foot, inpatient facility located adjacent to the Tidelands Community Hospice administrative office in Georgetown, SC. It features 12 private rooms, each designed with the physical and psychological comforts of home in mind. All rooms have a private handicap-accessible bathroom. There are two screened porches and a garden area for patients, their family members and guests to enjoy. The Hospice House also features a family living room, chapel, children’s playroom, library, laundry room, family kitchen and dining area. The facility is fully staffed with nurses and aides 24 hours a day and also has physicians on staff.
