Waccamaw Community Hospital is a 260,000 square foot, full-service acute care hospital. It was originally designed as a satellite facility for Georgetown Hospital System to serve the fast-paced grown of the north Georgetown County area. The hospital now includes four stories and 167 beds. Constructed in two phases, the first was completed in 2002 and consisted of 111 beds and three stories. The second phase was a vertical expansion that added 56 additional beds. In addition to the main hospital, CGA has provided design services for several separate facilities, including an endoscopy center, medical office building and outpatient surgery center.
