PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Waccamaw Same Day Surgery Center was originally designed in 2000 as an outpatient ambulatory surgery center with two operating suites including 6 pre-op bays and 4 PACU bays. The project served as the cornerstone for the development of Waccamaw Community Hospital and is currently the inpatient and outpatient surgery department for the facility with four operating suites, 9 pre-op bays, and 8 PACU bays.
